Niko niko Smile!No joke. I really, truly think that there will be no better year when all my fans, the people around me, and myself can spend the year smiling. And FYI, my smiling is already starting from the concert in January. Well, although before the smiling awaits nervousness. Even now, I still get nervous. I go through all the stuff I have to do, like,  in this song, that place, and stuff, and I get even more nervous. （笑）But when you’re on stage, that goes away and you get fun. That’s how powerful the audience is. I’m hoping in the next concert, I’d be able to see my member’s, and my audience’s smile.

2.   Takaki→Inoo
Graduate!I didn’t really think about it until recently, but there’s been times this year when I realised Inoo-kun was a college student. Like, when he couldn’t go overseas with us because of his studies, or when he goes home real quickly after work cuz of his assignments. It seems fun, but tiring. And in 2012, you’re gonna be 4^th grade, so make sure you graduate! Ah, right. The other day, Inoo-kun just suddenly was like, “Please be my friend” to me.（笑）I was like, “What the hell!” But then I discovered afterwards it was about this game where we could play together if we were “friends” … I was really freaked out at first. Yep, we’re friends now.

3.   I’m gonna go to New Year’s Prayer, but… are you?I mean, it’s New Year’s. You have to go to New Year’s Prayer. In my family, we don’t go to it from the eve to the day, but we go on the day’s night. Well, on the eve, I’m in the countdown concert, so my family made it a day after. After the prayers, I go to one of those shops and buy a candy floss. I dunno why, but when I see one of those outdoor shops from like, summer festivals, I always by candy floss. Although in the end, it’s too sweet for me and I give the rest to my family（笑）. Well, that’s about it. You know, I think it’ll be fun to go to New Year’s Prayer with members. Like, prayers, omikuji, and of course candy floss. It’s gonna be fun. But, speaking of fun, it’ll deffs be the concert!!

Just Praying won’t help! Take Actions!Well, don’t you think I thought up of something smart for them giving me the two letters?（笑）Well, the first thing I should pray for is like, graduation. Techincally, I’m graduating in 2013, but whether I can graduate depends on 2012, and in around December, I should really know. To graduate, I can’t just go, “Sensei! I wanna graduate so give me units!!!”, so I think I’ll study. （笑）Actually, this year, I might go to an earthquake affected place for class, and I want to look at the earthquake from a different point of view as “Marching J”. And other than that, I want to spend my last year as a student in a useful way with great teachers and friends.

HSB Interview “Gratitude”- #Hikaru, you’re so kind^_^

Keiichiro : Our guest this time is Hey! Say! Best!

HSB : Yoroshiku onegaishimasu!!!

Keiichiro : Today’s theme is “gratitude”, things that you feel grateful to a   member. It’s maybe a little bit embarrasing, but please share it with   us. Inoo chan, do you have something like that?

Inoo : Yes, recently. I took a day off from concert rehearsal because I   caught a cold. At that time, I emailed the member with “I’m taking a   day off, I’m sorry”. Without blaming me, everyone replied me with   something like ”quickly recover, okay!” it makes me happy.

Keiichiro : They’re really nice

Keiichiro : Ari chan?

Daiki : When hikaru kun and I share the same room. I’m really bad with   mornings and I can’t really.

Keiichiro : Oh, so the two of you share the same room?

Daiki : Yes, there are times where we share a room, it’s really hard for me to   get up from my bed. And hikaru kun would usually poke me and say,   ”sleeping for another 10 or 20 minutes, it doesn’t make any   difference. So, faster wake up”. He always say it tenderly.

Keiichiro : Ten or twenty minute in the morning are important, aren’t they?

Hikaru : There was one time when he’s really into game. There’s game where   you fight in the first floor or second floor of a building. I said to him,   ”Dai chan, wake up!” (Daiki reply) “It’s okay,..There’s no enemy in the   first floor.”

All laugh!!!

Hikaru : He was actually still half asleep when he said that!

Keiichiro : How much did you think about the game in your head?!

All laugh!!!

Keiichiro : Okay, Takaki?

Yuya : When I catch a cold, ehm, it’s something like a herbal medicine. What   do you call it? *he look at hikaru^^*

Keiichiro : Hikaru looks like somesort of herbal medicine

All laugh!!!

Hikaru : What do you mean by me looking like herbal medicine?!

Daiki : Like a mountain man from somewhere

Keiichiro : What about yabu?

Yabu : It’s kind of embarrassing, but it’s hikaru as well

Keiichiro : Oh Hikaru, you’re great! You are popular.

Yabu : Well, I’m doing a stage play at the moment. Taking care of your   throat is important, isn’t it? When I said my throat is weak, so I’m a   little bit worried, on the first day he bought me a humidifier.

Keiichiro : Humidifier? Seriously?!

Yabu : Haik

Keiichiro : Not bad

All, huooh!!”

Hikaru : I bought it for him

Yabu : But then, the material used was herbal medicine

All laugh!!!

Hikaru : Because he look like herbal medicine. I properly put the lavender one right?!

Keiichiro : Mr. Herbal medicine do you haver something to say? “laugh”

Hikaru : Well, for Mr. Herbal medicine…As expected, I’m grateful to all Jump’s   member. Well, my jokes are seriously boring, aren’t they?

All laugh!!!

Keiichiro : Oh you’re aware of that?! You’re aware of that yourself?!

Hikaru : Yeah, I’m totally aware of it. Since three years ago. Even so, they all   still laugh at it, the nine of them. They are so kind, aren’t they?

  Yes, that’s why I’m really grateful of that everyday.

Ryosuke Yamada: No matter how many times you hear them, it’d be nice if you could enjoy the song’s lyrics. Thanks to this song, whatever countries I go to in the future, it seems like I’ll be able to say “thank you”!

Yuri Chinen: First of all, I recommend that you listen to the song without looking at the lyrics! Then I think that you’ll definitely be surprised when you {see the lyrics after} and think: “oh, it was that phrase!”

Yuto Nakajima: When I sing this song, I feel true feelings of gratefulness to the whole world. The PV is also super full of feeling, so everybody please check it out!

Ryutaro Morimoto: This single is totally dancing style. The tune probably isn’t very JUMP-like, but the lyrics of “Arigato” definitely express our feelings.

Daiki Arioka: I think that if you just listen to the words the song is cool, but if you pay attention to the lyrics, they’re really interesting. I was the first person to know what “merci” {“thank you” in French} meant, yo.

Kei Inoo: The lyrics are really complicated, so we had to work hard to memorize them up until the day of the recording (smile). I want to feel lots of “thank yous”.

Hikaru Yaotome: Even though it’s a dance number, I think that the choreography is difficult to follow, and it might be elusive. So if you just listen and get footloose, if you follow along freely, it’d make me happy.

Kota Yabu: The dance to this song makes you breathe hard, but it’s more than just the dance, in the song we’re aligning everybody and using all of ourselves. The lyrics are also interesting.

Yuya Takaki: Within this flashy pop song, there are serious lyrics that say “thank you”: it makes an unexpectedly messy match. The dance is also hard, so you get to enjoy three kinds of songs inside one song.

Keito Okamoto: This song has the word for “thank you” in languages from all over the world in it, so when you listen to it you’ll be studying other languages (smile). It’s the first time that I heard the word “mutashakkiru” (it means “thank you” in Arabian).
